This is my favorite of the bunch.  Note the rolled stockings in the second image, as well as the other woman seated on the bed. What is the subject of the photo reaching for under there?

1930s Stereo Gals!

I will be posting one or two of these a day in hopes of getting back into a good, regular blogging vibe.

These were taken by a French amateur during the 1930s. I'm not sure if he's the same fellow that took the one I posted a few months back, but the style and situations seem similar. (Two of them are outdoor, the rest appear to have been made inside a brothel.)

Oh boy! Upskirt. These seem to have been taken on different days, unless they're two different models. But they're wearing the same shoes!

Anyway, vintage amateur smut for your approval.

Fire Eater

This guy was a regular fixture around the Centre Pompidou in the eighties and early nineties. He was a fire eater, and he also had a repulsive specialty: he could suck his abdominal organs upward until you could damn near see his spine sticking through the skin of his belly (no, I didn't get a picture.) He was French and I believe he'd been a paratrooper (note the tattoo on his biceps) and he was quite gracious about having his picture taken.

This was originally half of a stereograph pair. Until I started cleaning the dust off of this negative digitally I hadn't ever noticed the burn scars on his arms, back and sides.

More Cake, More Lady

Here she is again, continuing her journey into erotic reverie, Jazz Age-style. Here's #10:

 She's lighting candles again, but without the wistful look! What do you suppose happened in #9, which is missing from my set? (I'm not quite sure if I ever had it.)

#11: Here she seems to have lapsed back into a pleasant state of sexy thoughtfulness, or thoughtful sexiness. Maybe she's thinking about Gilbert Roland, or maybe she's more of a William S. Hart kind of gal, or maybe she's dreaming of Lilian Gish's loving embrace.

 In #12 she just had an especially naughty thought.

 And in #13 she's looking right at you again, as though she just remembered she's being photographed.

 And finally, in #14, she gives in to temptation and uncovers her lovely bosom and slides her diaphonous garment  twixt her nether limbs!

And for some reason the breasts are covered again in #15, the last in the series. I wonder what ever happened to her.

The Lady and the Cake, Part 2

Here are more scans of the lovely lady, clad only in a diaphonous wisp of a garment, cavorting with a birthday cake. Scans 4 through eight follow!

Cycling through the spectrum of human emotions, here in #4 she's carefree!

In #5 she's thoughtful, lighting a candle and reflecting on something deep and wonderful--

#6 finds her having a happy thought, perhaps of a far-off loved one.

But in #7 she's reminded of something sad--though her right nipple seems to have perked up between shots.

And in #8 she's practically mournful. Sorry she's still dressed! For the next and last installment she will be partially disrobed, I promise.

A Scantily-Clad Beauty and a Birthday Cake in stereo, 1927

I posted one of these a while back and now I'm going to post the whole set, a few at a time. Just like a strip tease!

She looks like she's really enjoying the lighting process! I wish I could get that enthusiastic about things.

Sorry these are a little out of focus. The cards are quite curved. She's still a pretty thing, though, and we'll be seeing a lot more of her later.

Oh Boy! Vintage Sleaze!

I picked this up on eBay a few years ago. It may or may not be the work of the same photographer who shot a whole box's worth of very similar stereo brothel views in France sometime around the 1930s. That box is somewhere in storage in the basement beneath my former office and I'm in the process of looking for it. In the meantime, here's a lovely lounging inhabitant of a long-gone maison close:

EdCo flyer, 1996

A lovely bit of promotional work from my brother Batfatty (that's him, holding up the head on the cover of "GRACIOUS LIVING"). These were ViewMaster reels he made from various stereoscopic expeditions. It's a shame I don't have the originals to post, they were beautiful, in the way that only a diseased thumbnail (see "Scotty Bob," above) can be.

Birthday Suit

This is the most explicit of a set of stereo views I got a few years ago on eBay. Sadly they're curved and don't scan in perfect focus...if anyone knows how to scan a curved piece of cardboard let me know. I also have glass stereo slides I'll post as soon as I figure out how to scan them.

Technicalities aside, she was a beaut, though, wasn't she? Eighty-two years ago, anyway.

Best Birthday Ever

Here's a stereo GIF from the Robot Scott ViewMaster set I posted a few days ago. I wish I could find the rest in postable form, they're pretty great. This is (c)1996 by my brother Batfatty. That's right, and the above badly taxidermied Pan troglodytes will likely be there. It's at the Delmar Lounge, 6235 Delmar Blvd., Saint Louis, MO 63130 starting at eight o'clock. Yours truly will be reading along with Frank Bill of Indiana, Jedidiah Ayres of St. Louis, and the headliner of course is Anthony Neil Smith of Marshall, MN, reading from the brutal "Hogdoggin.'"
