More Parisian Rooftops

From, I think, the top floor cafeteria of the Galeries Lafayette, with the Opéra Garnier in the distance, circa 1985:
Shot using a Pentax LX, what lens I don't remember, using Kodak Technical Pan film. Click to enlarge!

  1. Wow! These are some of the best of your images I've seen. Consider me very impressed.

Technical Pan was a bit of a bear, depending on what you developed it in. The developer designed specifically for it gave a full range, but the contrast level seemed extreme. I ended up shooting it at 125 and using one of the HC-110 dilutions, which was a smidge grainier but opened up the mid-ranges a lot more. But I daresay, either way, this was the most fine-grained film Kodak ever released.

    Good stuff. More!

    1. Thanks Mark! I think I shot it at 100 or 125 also.
