Speaking of Klaus!..."The Great Silence" last night was a bit...uneven. I couldn't count it among the great spaghetti Westerns I've seen (and I've only seen a handful of the best), but it was cruel and the unrelenting snowy winter landscape was harsh as well. Still...when you're watching the credits in the beginning of a movie and they list FOUR writers, that's a bad sign.
ReplyDeleteI didn't stay to watch the whole thing anyway, because it was a private employee screening, and everybody else starting LIGHTING UP CIGARETTES. I lasted ten minutes after that before I ran out gagging.
